Health and Safety notes

We get 2 SD cards one labelled A

 and the other B

We learnt the basic's about the camera we were going to be using.

  • Should NOT take the camera out if it is raining heavily, if it's raining lightly then we have to get an umbrella from the technicians.
  • Always keep the camera in the bag when going to our location.
  • Camera includes a built in microphone however we can get an additional one.
  • We learnt how to put the battery in. To put the battery in you slide it to the left and to take it out you press the button and slide it to the right.
  • Keep the settings the same otherwise it won't work on final cut pro.
  • There are two memory card slots (A&B) we learnt how to put them in.
  • There is a slide on the left side of the camera which opens and closes the lens. When recording sound the lens doesn't need to be open.
  • To zoom in and out the buttons are on the top right of the camera.
  • to use manual focus Select 'MF' then 'Focus on the slider and press 'user 1'. This would be used for an extreme close up.
  • To view recorded footage you press 'cam/media'.
  • If the camera gets broken it is the whole groups responsibility to replace it.
